Why Imams and Khateebs Must Act

Dear respected Imams and Khateebs,

Our children are facing unprecedented challenges in schools. From as young as 5 years old, they are being exposed to sexually inappropriate teaching and ‘LGBTQ’ ideology under the Relationships and Sex Education (RSE) curriculum. Many parents are unaware of:

  • Their legal rights to withdraw their children from certain lessons

  • Their responsibility before Allah to protect their children from harmful ideas, behaviours, and values

  • The practical steps they can take to bring about change in schools

The Friday Khutbah is the most powerful platform in our community. It reaches the hearts of parents, raises awareness, and empowers families to take action. By delivering this khutbah, you will help Muslim parents stand firm, protect their children’s innocence, and safeguard the future of our Ummah.

Your Role as an Imam

  • Support Muslim parents to actively protect their children from harmful RSE content

  • Empower families with both legal knowledge and Islamic responsibility

  • Guide communities with clear, practical steps to achieve change in schools

On Friday 19th September, we are calling on Imams and Khateebs across England to dedicate their khutbah to this urgent issue.

We want you to feel fully prepared and confident to deliver this khutbah. We are providing:
