Now your children are back at school, they will be sitting in Relationships and Sex Education lessons.

Most schools will be:

• teaching the names of sexual body parts (penis, vagina, vulva) in year 1 or year 2
• teaching sex education lessons in year 4, 5 and 6.
• normalising same-sex family structures to young children.

Although you can’t change everything, there’s a lot you can do.

These sessions will focus on the actions you can take which will have the most significant impact on changing what your children are taught.
