RESEARCH AND ADVOCACY

We believe there are significant problems with the way RSE is being taught in Schools.  In order to draw light upon this, we need to harness the power of research, not just to highlight issues, but use it to drive activism and advocate for change.

Our landmark report Could Do Better is an example of this.  Not only did we invest considerable time in researching and writing a report, we have also used it to inform prospective parliamentary candidates during the general election.  We also have plans to send a copy of the report to all MPs and to launch the report.  The prime objective is to get RSE onto the agenda of MPs and policy makers and also to advocate for much needed changes.

You can read a copy of the report here.

Follow and take part in our Could Do Better Campaign to advocate for change.

Over the years we have drafted guides to support parents respond to numerous government consultations.  Read a copy of our latest guide to support parents respond to the latest government consultation on the revised RSE guidance.

We will continue to call for changes to the way RSE is taught on behalf of our community and to protect all children in schools.

we have:

  • Published the landmark ‘Could Do Better’ report into the problems with RSE implementation in schools
  • Produced guides to support Muslim parents and organisations
  • Contacted every parliamentary candidate standing in the 2024 general election and empowered Muslims to contact them and sign up to 3 pledges.
We are able to advocate for change at a national level.
